Anglican prayer beads create a focus for non-prescriptive contemplative prayer and differ in style and number from Catholic rosary. The beads consist of four sets of seven separated by four ‘cruciform’ beads and an invitatory bead. The prayers chosen when using Anglican prayer beads vary, and often incorporate elements from the Anglican Prayer Book.
Colours and stone types vary but may include glass, crystal, jade, howlite and other semi-precious stones. Please request general colour preference in the product notes at purchase.
