This icon has been painted, reproduced and made in Melbourne.
The image is Christ the Redeemer from a 6th century prototype in St catherine's Monastery, Sinai.
The original is by Lynne Gray, and was painted with egg tempera and gold on wood.
This small block icon is 11.8cm by 7.8cm, 1cm thick. It is fitted with a loop for hanging on the back.
